The latest issue of Senses of Cinema is out, and contains a dossier co-edited by Maura Edmond and John Edmond on the singular works of Valérie Massadian whose works we presented at QFF2018.
As part of last year’s festival, we programmed a strand themed around an exploration of what an aesthetics of caring might look like in film. Massadian’s works became central to this exploration, and we can only hope we did justice to her films.
