Local Film Submissions

Local Film Submissions

Queensland Film Festival believes that it is important to showcase emerging local talent. For this reason we want to hear about the great work being done by local filmmakers. Although we have limited spaces available and can’t screen all the films we come across, we would love to consider your recent work.

If you have a short film that you would like us to consider for QFF2015, please send an online preview link of the film to info@qldff.com using the subject line FILM SUBMISSION: “YOUR FILM’S NAME”. In the body of the email please include a short synopsis of the film, and a brief bio outlining your links to filmmaking in Queensland (training? locations? etc.) and your career progression (student? early career? etc.).

Please do let other filmmakers know about this opportunity as well. In our inaugural year the need to keep a low profile as we locked things down made it difficult for us to alert local filmmakers to our existence. However, supporting local filmmaking is an area to which we want to pay strong attention. Your support this year will help us to build on this commitment in the future.
